What does the observer letter look like and how can I find it?

At the moment, there is not place for you to actually see the default observer letter.  I have set up a dummy account but when we move to the new platform in April, you will have access to it more readily. Also, you should be able to modify it for your own default message as you can with the invitation letter.  Observers will still be able to make changes but they usually don't. I am hoping that default samples can be found with a button but either way it will be available.  Instead of hav...

Why things are the way they are and Using Outlook for Observers and For Follow-up Only Category

Sometimes associates wonder why something is set up the way it is or additions have been made. Sometimes they don’t like the change – sometimes I don’t either. However, occasionally Tony Alessandra gets a request with rationale from one of his customers (a private label site like Assessments Now) and it make sense to him. However, it means changing the code for everyone. Any unique or special requests that he does not think are of interest to the majority of clients can sometimes be ...

How secure is the system?

In the past five years since owning and running Assessments Now, there have been two attacks from hackers. In both instances, the situation was quickly resolved by our techie people and new securities put in place. Each night all data bases are backed up and so the system can be restored easily. Of course, hackers continue to try to "beat the system". To ease any concerns that you might have: There no way anyone could EVER gain access to our actual computers. They are hidden behind fire...

Time is up and my client wants to see his/her report and graph

All of clients should be encourage to generate a report before the 60 days are up.  They can then download the PDF file (the latest eGraph will be added in) and it can be reviewed at ANY time.  Usually extensions are purchased (as outlined in a previous post) if more observers are wanted or if they want to do a “follow-up” group at a later time.  IF they forgot to download the file, YOU, as an associate, do have permanent access to their graph and results.  All Associates can regenerat...

Extending time to send out observers or access reports

From the moment that your clients complete the assessment, they have 30 more days to invite observers and then another 30 days (60 in total) to access their member site. If after that time they want to extend the time - they can purchase another 30 or 60 days for a minimal fee. The system prompts them if they try to log in or invite observers after the time limit. When the 60 days are up - clients are given an option of extending the time for an additional $9.95 for 60 days with full obse...

Special Features – Got a project with more than 25?

In a previous post I mentioned how you can use a special "invitation link" to distribute a large amount of assessments without having to type each and every name and email into the system and then track them all. This is especially useful if you are working with one organziation because you can track the email addresses and see if someone "outside" the organzition has used the link. As well, all assessments used can be charged back to the company. More importantly, it is a great way to avoid y...

Special Features – Initation Link for mass distribution

I am just about to purchase another batch from you and have one question.  Fifteen of the people don't have email addresses.  However, they can use a central system.  Is there any way to distribute them this way? Yes, they can use a central system and what might make even more sense is to use a "universal" invitation link that you set up so that they can just log in for any computer, use the URL you provide and sign up.  As long as they remember their username and password -- keep it simp...

Using Case Studies and Exercises in Training

One of your colleagues just had a very successful half day training and is proposing another for a different group in the organization.  Her question is as follows with my rather lengthy reponse: My raving fan said I might want to be a little more high-level/intellectual for this new group – for example, not do the celebrity exercise (many of the docs do not even watch TV – I don’t either, so I can relate ) and she said probably good to do less role playing (the scripts in your training ...

Participants not getting notifications?

Here is another typical issue and how to solve it. I have sent out a reminder of an assessment that I want a client to complete. They haven't received it yet and that was a few hours ago. You need to determine if they got the first invitation? If yes, then that means it had gotten through at least once. Otherwise it could be a server problem. Have them check thier Junk folder. If they haven't received the reminder (should be almost immediately) it is because the ISP considers someth...

Questions about releasing results to participants after training

One of the Associates recently completed a training session using The Platinum Rule and had a couple of great questions. Here they are with my answers: Everyone has taken the assessment, but I did not let them see their results. I am bringing their results/report to the seminar. My questions are: If I switch the tab to allow them to view results after the seminar, how do they see the results – i.e. do I send them a link? An email? Does the system notify them? No the system doesn'...
